The Camaro has 5 slot/hole mag rims.  I found trying to find a model with these rims pretty tough to find.  It took me many months to find a set. I ended up buying a junkyard lot of tires and rims on Ebay to get the rims.  In order to build this model and make it look right you need a set of these.

These have turned out perfict wide rear narrow front as narrow as they were back then . Now we need to find some g or n 50 series tires for the rear and probibly 60 series front.
if you look close at the headers and side pipes they will most likely have to be hand made they have the tube side by side not like a normal ColLector were they are 2 wide and 2 high . They are 1 high 4 side by side for ground clearance. Like an old Funny car pipe that go into side pipes. I have never seen them in a kit maybe you have.

I have no problem looking for a set I just need to figure out what they would have been called and go from there. I always try to narrow down the searches by companies, or kit names. I'll keep a watch on the yard lots, and see if I can scope any out.  Worst case I can make/craft  or kitbash my own set. My camaro kit has the standard side pipes for the 68 amc kit.



I did find these on a Revell Camaro kit  Z-28.   Would they work?

Neither do I Mastercaster but I'm looking for a cheap model/parts for the side pipes.

Hey Ghost,
I have kit number 30085. This is a AMT/ERTL Baldwin Motion Camaro. It is a brand new kit. The kit is complete. There is no indication of scale anywhere on the box but most Ebay listings say it is 1:25. I would make the molds and send some sets to you. I think there are six pieces that make up the two headers to make a pair.

That's cool, but I pre-ordered the pipes last night when I found them in a parts auctions. I'm just waiting to see if I win a few more auctions. Hoping on a some interior. I'll keep that in mind, cause if I do this build up right. I might want to build the black version & need another set. When I get them, I'll test them out on the 68 and 69 kits I have from a yard lot and let you know if they fit.
