There are some videos about this. There used to be a guy somewhere on the internet that was making copies of original rare Victrola records to sell. Recordings were also on a cylinder, I think these are a bit more rare, much like the Betta/VHS war of the 70's, the flat record won. There used to be records that were 16 inches in diameter too. I used to have some info on a company that sold a record player that played records that large and played six or more speeds. I do own a few 10 inch 33RPM records and reel to reel tapes. I have some reel to reel tapes that are older than I and still sound very good. They are called binaural recordings.
