This is a different thing for most of us, but myself especially true. I no longer cast the big unusual stuff. Now I go back to the basic hobby and build a bit. Back when I cast, I saved some of the slightly blemished ones for "later". Now, it is later. This one was the Spirit I master and cast a few years ago. I sold around 325 of these , maybe a bit more. I actually own 3 plus two masters. I am building this one using MPC Pro-Stock Mustang II as the donor. It fits well but will require about 80 hours of detail work at the very least. I am looking forward to getting it painted, I love paint work. I actually cast my own very improved AMC V-8, but will use the "Firefighter" Ford block and trans casting to ensure a very good fit. I will add all the AMC top end, ignition, front accessories etc so that when the bonnet is open it all looks AMC. I would like to keep it under the hood and not hack up the hood, time will tell. The moral of my story: Remember, this is a hobby, have fun. If you dread it or work too hard at it, something must change. I sure like building FOR ME again!

I was thinking the intake from Revell Hemi Dart and a pair of Fireball Resin Holleys, and hope to GOD I can fit the hood onto it.
