www.reynoldsam.com/Hi Superstock. I too use the Smooth - On line of products. I use the Task 8 resin and the moldstar 30 silicone. Once cured, the task 8 will become chemical proof and withstand 260 degrees of heat. This stuff is great if you are copying real car parts and sending them out for chrome plating. I started out using the 300 series resin but it will melt and warp in a really hot car. Alcohol rubbed on scripts and such on a model body can be easily removed. This won't happen with task 8. The moldstar 30 silicone has a good library life. It is a platinum cure silicone. Tin cure silicones can deteriorate quickly. A pressure pot is important. Also having the ability to de remove air and moisture from the silicone and resin. I buy Presto A617A 6 quart and A403A 4 quart pressure cookers and then convert them to hold pressure. Lid design is important.
