Hi all,
  I have had this big amazing kit for some time now, no it's not for sale.  What you see pictured on the box is what is in the kit.  It is four kits in one, it's HUGE!! but Rocky sure would like to steal it!!  Anyway, I got to looking at the Firebird wheels and have not noticed them in any other kit.  I decided to do a mold with a few different wheels.  I will let Rocky elaborate.  The two small parts at the far left are the dust caps for the blue Halibrands taken from the RAM ROD Jo Han Plymouth funny car kit.  The black wheels are the Pontiac wheels stripped of chrome.  Next are a couple of Halibrand variations.  Next are spinners for about 65 or 66 MPC Corvette and then the Corvette wheels.  Not on clay yet are some wheels Rocky said will sell well, one front, one rear.  Next are the center caps for the Pontiac wheels and finally two Eleanor wheels.  Once the mold is made then two pulls will mostly equal a set of wheels.  I think this is a good use of silicone.  This 1967 Mustang Eleanor was built by Dr. Kerry.  Photos were first posted on the Model Cars Magazine model car forum.  This is the Mustang Eleanor featured in the Nicholis Cage remake of the movie "Gone in Sixty Seconds".

The first part of the mold is complete, cleaned and ready for silicone to make what will become the lid. Great care must be taken when you are doing small parts. I should have been in less of a hurry and taken more photos. When removing the clay, sometimes the tiny parts will come out along with the clay. If this happens spray some mold release in the parts opening and carefully try to seat it back into place.  One of those small round parts for the Pontiac wheel came out, fortunately it seemed to go back in where it was supposed to.  I add the 70 Road Runner steel wheels that have the separate dog dish cap into the mix.
