It's going to be nice. This was mastered by Ron Lambert of Rhode Island, RHODE ISLAND PONTIACS. I have been waiting about three years for this. I think it has been worth the wait too.

We got it in the mail 3 yr project and wow not what we thought I can't sell it this way so I am redoing it now . It is starting to look like it should . Getting everything into visual scale . The roof was about 2 scale inches off . The side windows again two inches to low. The top of the side window should be above the front roof line. The roof window was flat and should run up hill very slight as it goes back. I think I have gotten more done in three days than he did in two years. but I can't really say that he gave it a good starting point for me. Will post pictures as soon as it's ready to be seem. And it already is starting to look good . Besides this is really what I like when someone else does what I call the hard part then step in and make it look good with the easy detail work. It is alot less work for me and I don't get board so easy and done quicker.

Some progress photo's with a thin coat of paint so i can see how the shape is coming. No it's not even close for real paint . When you have several different colors it can give an illusion on the shape . It will get sanded painted sanded 20 times just to find the right shape.

So far I have had to raise the rear roof line apx 0.070 and the rear side windows approximately 0.125 they were along way from what they should have been. It is hard to see in the photos the results so far have been well worth the work. And there was no way I could sell something that was so far off . They had the concept right it was just the execution that failed. I am happy with the progress so far. If I can stay on it will be good because I have about five other body's that im doing right now . Just keep plugging away is all I can do right now. Hope you like it when its done

KK dumb question didn't the side windows roll from just about the top of the roof down? ?

Yes they did .you can't see it here there is a very light scribe line were they will be.
Right now I'm still trying to get to correct contour on the top where they go . Along with the top.it is real close just not there yet. It has been a little tougher we had someone do a master but when it showed up it was to far off so I'm trying to work over there work. Makes it a little harder. So close I can almost taste it .

I just got done with a temp mold now I can start with a resin body to make all the little details. I find once you get it close make a temp resin body and then you can sand cut clue grind smash or what ever you want it's easyer and faster and if you mess it up just make another one . So I make a thin temp mold just to cast a couple body's . Seams to work good that way.
